Generally, rubber conveyor belts account for nearly one third of the total cost of the conveyor system, and corrugated side-barrier conveyor belts account for a larger proportion of the cost. How to design corrugated conveyor belts to achieve higher efficiency and lower cost has become a concern of every manufacturer. Here, Jingbo Rubber Co., Ltd. briefly introduces the design highlights of its own corrugated conveyor belt.

1. Shock resistance. The diaphragm designed as T or TC type can prevent material from spilling. The bottom of each diaphragm is supported by vertical bars, which can improve the tear resistance and impact resistance of conveyor belts. T-type baffle is suitable for conveying large materials and boxes, while TC-type baffle is more suitable for conveying bulk materials.

2. Anti-running deviation, as shown in the figure, the edge is fixed on both sides of the base belt, and there are blanks on both sides. The combination of the wheel edge and the blank edge of the press pulley can effectively prevent the problem of conveyor belt from running away. The common shape of the edge is wavy barrier.

3. Prefabricated anti-tear coil, can be customized according to customer needs of pre-fabricated anti-tear coil side conveyor belt. As shown in the figure, two anti-tear metal coils are embedded in the corrugated side of the conveyor belt to prevent the corrugated side from tearing. At the same time, if the side of the conveyor belt is torn or slipped, an alarm can be issued to prevent more serious accidents.
