Various parameters and characteristics of conveyor belt production line
The parameters of rubber conveyor belt are generally determined according to the requirements of material handling system, t he relevant production process, the conditions of material loading and unloading location and the characteristics of the conveyor material.
Conveying capacity of rubber conveyor belt: Conveying capacity refers to the amount of material conveyed per unit time. The transportation of bulk materials is calculated by the mass or volume of the materials transported per hour; the transportation of finished materials is calculated by the number of pieces transported per hour.
Increase of conveying speed: Increase of conveying speed needs to improve conveying capacity. Conveyor belts are needed for traction when the conveyor length is large. Now the required conveying speed is increasing. High-speed operation requires that the belt conveyor pay attention to noise, vibration, starting and braking problems. For the conveyor with chain as tractor, the conveying speed should not be too high, so as to prevent the increase of dynamic load. Conveyor carries out process operation at the same time, and the conveying speed should be determined according to the requirements of production process.
Conveyor construction size: Conveyor belt component size directly affects the conveying capacity of the conveyor. Component size includes slab width, pipe diameter, container size, conveying bandwidth and hopper volume, etc.
Conveying length and inclination angle: The inclination angle of the transmission system and the length of the transmission line directly affect the required power of the conveyor and the total resistance of the conveyor.
