The appearance quality of heat-resistant conveyor belts is standard. The chemical industry standard HG_2297-92 of heat-resistant conveyor belts stipulates that the appearance quality of conveyor belts shall comply with GB_526. Therefore, the heat-resistant conveyor belt must meet

 

the appearance quality standard stipulated by GB 526.

Now we have put forward some suggestions to solve the causes of the appearance damage of heat-resistant conveyor belts for your reference. If there is something wrong, you are welcome to correct.

The models of heat-resistant conveyor belts mentioned in this paper only include T1 (below 100 C), T2 (not more than 120 C) and T3 (not more than 150 C).

Varieties of raw rubber used for covering rubber of heat-resistant conveyor belts: The quality and appearance of heat-resistant conveyor belts are different because of different kinds of raw rubber.

Styrene-butadiene rubber: Styrene-butadiene rubber is one of the most commonly used rubber materials for heat-resistant conveyor belts. Its technological properties are better, its vulcanization , calendering and mixing processes are better mastered, its appearance quality is better than that of ethylene-propylene rubber and chloroprene rubber, and its defects are less

 

than those of the two kinds of rubber.

Ethylene propylene rubber: Ethylene propylene rubber is also a commonly used rubber material

 

for heat-resistant conveyor belts, with better heat resistance. Ethylene propylene rubber can be

 

used for a long time in the environment of 150 C. The disadvantage is that the process

 

performance is poor and the adhesive of the covering rubber is general. Therefore, the rubber

 

surface of the conveyor belt made of Ethylene propylene rubber is generally not smooth enough

 

and has many bright scars.

Neoprene rubber: Neoprene rubber has general heat resistance, which is inferior to styrene-butadiene rubber and ethylene propylene rubber. Therefore, it is generally used in T1 conveyor belt (below 100 C), but it has good acid and alkali resistance. Nowadays, many chemical industries have strict requirements on conveyor belts, which can resist acid and alkali as well as heat. For some chemical industries with low heat resistance requirements, chloroprene rubber is a good choice.
