Application scope of repair strip: belt repair strip is suitable for wound repair, scratch repair, wear repair, rupture repair and so on of longitudinal tear of various conveyor belts.
The repairing strip is suitable for repairing the longitudinal tear of various conveyor belts, long-distance scratch of conveyor belts, penetration and edge wear of conveyor belts, local rubber layer damage, and sealing treatment of cold seamless lapping.
First of all, do a good preparation before grinding, select some repair strips which are two to three centimeters wider than the damaged parts of the conveyor belt, and draw marking lines around the damaged parts of the conveyor belt.
Start grinding, preferably with a high-power, low-speed angular grinder, and then with RIT tungsten steel plate to grind the surface to be repaired. The polishing depth at the interface should not be less than the thickness of the patch strip, so as to avoid being scratched by the sweeper.
Clean the surface of the polished conveyor belt with a cleaning agent and dry it.
Mix cold vulcanization binder and hard vulcanization agent evenly and apply them on the whole repairing surface of conveyor belt. The strength of the application should be uniform and the thickness should be the same.
When pasting repair strips, compaction rollers are used to compact them.
After repairing, the joint of the repair strip is brushed with a mixture of cold vulcanizing binder and hard vulcanizing agent, and then natural cold vulcanization.
If multiple patches are needed for splicing and repairing, attention should be paid to the overlapping mode.
